From a practical and spiritual view we would have to confess that the truth revealed in God's Word and expounded upon by the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee is our daily salvation and keeping grace. On our side the thing that attracted us to the local church and has kept us in God's presence is the truth. From God's side it is His abundant mercy and grace which not only saved us but also revealed His plan to us. We felt that without a good expounding of the truth in the Bible our relationship with God would become just religious duty and void of a full reality. Eventually we would be left with an empty feeling inside and an aimless wandering outside. Through this ministry we know why we are here, why God chose us, what we should do and where we are going.
Of course this is not just truth for our doctrinal understanding but a revelation of the One who is living inside of us and how we may contact Him daily by calling on the Lord Jesus' precious name (Romans 10:12). The fact that we are sons of God, possessing His life and nature, and thus have a new life in us which energizes us to express Him here on earth today is a marvelous reality which causes us to love Him for all He has done for us (John 1:12; Colossians 3:4; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 John 4:10-19).
